I create in a way that is conceptual, engaging, and perhaps a little unconventional. I am all about thrilling experiences and electrifying visuals. I design for brands and people alike.
I grew up scribbling monster characters in my Math textbooks and brainstorming ways to improve everyday experiences.
I attended Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore, and was awarded a BA(Hons) degree in 2D Animation design. I interned with small scale animation studios, ship simulator firms, and independent fashion studios before settling down as a Sr. Ux Designer in (what was then) a small startup called Sprinklr. The company began to grow, as did I. After a few years, I was ready for my next challenge, and attended a Masters in Authorial Illustration in Falmouth University, England. Cornwall opened my eyes to the beauty that lies in a balanced life and mind. I wrote my first ever children's book there, and have not stopped ever since.
My approach to art & design is simple ~ what I create should work, please, and in some cases even challenge (in that order).
Who am I outside of work?
I am the definition of an Indian Piscean ~ sensitive, fun and a little crazy. I live for my desi pooch Mudd, coffee, cartoons and love. When I dont have my nose buried in books or screens, I am probably daydreaming about the beautiful sweeping beaches and delicious pasties of Cornwall. Well, for now, atleast.
